"Bay View” is a great spot for those looking to bond with the family and enjoy all aspects of the beautiful Sandbridge area. Walk to the beach access at Whiting from this bayside home to enjoy lazy days on the beach. Bike, jog or stroll along the quiet streets of the Back Bay area, winding along canals and year-round neighbors. The ground level area includes a queen bedroom with a den with a TV, mini-fridge, and full bathroom. Upstairs there is plenty of room in the great room with LCD TV and sunroom combination. The kitchen has two tables for mealtime and offers a nice deck area. The living area is flanked by two bedrooms on each side, each side offering a full hall bathroom. The hook on "Bay View” is the great outdoor patio area with two picnic tables and an outdoor kitchen offering a gas grill and sink. Sandbridge offers Little Island Park that includes a fishing pier, playground, and public baths, and Back Bay Wildlife Refuge is located just south of the pier for nature walks, kayaking, and exploring. A day at the Virginia Beach Aquarium will be a hit for all ages, and an afternoon at Ocean Breeze Park will thrill the kids with water slides, swimming, and a wave pool. Don’t forget the world-famous Virginia Beach Boardwalk… a MUST DO for anyone new to the area.

All Sandbridge Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Best spot for family or group of friends!

We have rented this home multiple summers, recently in September of 2023 for a family beach week (including the dogs). Amazing price for being so close to the ocean. Great location, very short walk to the ocean front and in a safe and family friendly neighborhood. They have all basic kitchen necessities for cooking and various bedroom options. The local Sandbridge shop is walkable and has all essential grocery items and fun take out options. There is a grill, outdoor fridge & picnic tables outside downstairs where we had lots of fun dinners. There is also a spacious back deck with tables and benches where the whole group can enjoy meals or morning coffee. Couldn’t recommend this place more and looking forward to coming back summer of 2024!

Wonderful view!

We love the large family room, and that the bedrooms were split from each other on each side of the house. We spent a lot of time underneath in the covered patio area with the barbecue grill and the huge yard for our kids and dogs. There’s an awesome room downstairs as well. That was perfect for my son, it was like he had his own apartment and to top it all off there’s a beautiful view of the bay from the front deck/ sunroom windows

Wow ,Close to the beach 🏝️

Bayview was a wonderful house very cozy. My family really enjoyed it. The amenities were all there at the gas grill. The linens were clean. The rooms were comfortable and the proximity of the beach was surprising just One block up the street. We truly enjoyed our stay, and will be returning soon again

Location! Location! Location!

First, the communication from Sandbridge Blue ahead of our stay was wonderful and greatly appreciated in light of the current pandemic situation. We recieved several emails and a video detailing pandemic protocols in place to make our stay comfortable and as worry free as possible. That said, when we arrived at Bay View we found the property to be clean but not to the standard promoted in the video. It did not have the smell of disinfectant, the floors were sandy and the promised set of clean dishes in the dishwasher was not there. The house is in a great location-very close to the Whiting Lane beach access and only a couple of miles from the Sandbridge shops/restaurants. The neighborhood is lovely and quite walkable. The house itself is in good condition. We loved all the deck space and the outdoor kitchen. Once we figured out how to power-up the outdoor fridge and turn on the grill we were set to go! The outdoor shower proved quite handy and we really appreciated the exterior access to the bathroom in the apartment under the house. It kept us from tracking sand upstairs. The open floor plan allowed us to spread out. This came in handy when our VA Beach relatives stopped by for a visit-we were able to maintain distance and still enjoy a visit! The bathrooms are in good shape though a bit dated. One of the queen beds is on cinderblocks but was still comfortable. We especially liked that bed linens and bath towels are included-what a relief to not have to lug that stuff from home! All in all it was a comfy place to stay and we're considering it again for next summer.
